Kitchen Garden Teacher or Co-ordinator
Applications are invited from suitably qualified committed Christians for the role of Kitchen Garden Co-Ordinator. This position is currently paid 7 hours per week. However, this role MAY be split (Kitchen/Garden) and the duties and hours split accordingly. The garden is a well-established chemical free organic garden (10yrs). The Kitchen program works alongside teachers and encourages students to use produce from the garden to create healthy recipes connecting with classroom curriculum as much as possible. Great role for a teacher or passionate individual who loves gardens, plants and cooking. Volunteers are at hand to assist in class activities. Exciting opportunities exist to weave wide reaching activities into both kitchen and garden, from exotic meals to daily nourishment, knife skills to construction, craft, Mathematics, soil health and chicken care…just to name a few!
