About Our School: Board
Andrew joined the Board in 2018 after teaching and serving in Christian schooling for the past 18 years. He has experience in education from classroom teaching through to a Head Executive role and has recently served on the board of a local non–for–profit charity.
Tim is serving on the board as Elders representative and joined at the beginning of 2019.Tim has served as an Elder in Coast Community Church for 16 of the past 19 years and has also served on the Board of ET Australia(Training College and Secondary School) for the past 13 years.In his professional life, Tim was Managing Director of North Construction & Building from 1999 to 2019, overseeing growth in the business from 15 staff to in excess of 100.
Michele has recently retired after 23 years at Green Point Christian College serving in varying administrative roles. Previous to this appointment, Michele was Personal Assistant to the Managing Partner of both Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse prior to the two accountancy firms merging to become Pricewaterhouse Coopers or PWC. Michele has extensive experience in the Administrative area of Christian Schooling and was part of the founding board of Coast in 1999 and since then has continued to serve in three separate appointments for a total of 14 years.
Ian joined the Board mid–2019, primarily because of his 30+ years as a primary/high school teacher in the public and private Australian educational system. He also had 8 years experience as a principal in the Christian School system, in the Northern Territory and NSW. Ian is passionate about the value and significance of Christian education in Australia.
Kevin is the Senior Pastor of Coast Community Church.
Tamsin joined the Board in 2019 as a parent representative, with 3 children attending CCS and school involvement over the past 7 years. She is active in a range of school activities including parent help in class, co–ordinating class and parent social events as Lead Grade Parent, assisting in co–ordination of sporting and other school activities. Tamsin has in excess of 20 years’ experience working locally in a family–owned business in management and senior administration roles.
