  • What is the enrolment process?

    Step 1.  Apply

Formally apply by completing our enrolment form which you can receive by completing our application form.

    Step 2. Interview

Applicants will be invited for an enrolment interview the year before your intended start date.

Step 3. Social Play Session (Preparatory & Kindergarten only)

Children will attend a Social Play Session. The children come together in small groups of 6-7 children, providing an opportunity for the teachers to meet your child and observe them interacting with other boys and girls.

    Step 4. Letter of Offer

A letter of offer will be made, as per our enrolment policy and taking into consideration overall enrolment applications.

  • How do I put my child’s name down for future years?

To put your name down at Coast Christian School, you will need to formally apply. Please fill out an enrolment form with the supporting documentation. Once you have submitted your paperwork, we will be in contact to organise the next steps.

  • What should I expect at my enrolment interview?

Enrolment interviews are an opportunity for us to learn more about your family and a time for you to learn about our school. The interview will consist of a parent interview with the Principal, while the child/ren attend a small class placement assessment with our Deputy or her delegate.

  • Do I need to apply for my child in Prep to start Kinder?

Prep students seeking transition to Kindergarten are required to reapply. Kindergarten application forms may be submitted alongside Prep forms.

  • What age can my child start Prep?

To be considered for enrolment in Prep, children need to have turned 4 years of age by January 1st the year they would commence Prep, (unless there are exceptional circumstances).

  • How long can my child go to Prep for?

Prep is designed to be a one-year program before starting Kindergarten.

  • Is Prep government subsidised?

As Prep is independently run, the fees are not government subsided. However, we believe every child should have access to Prep and therefore set our daily rate to be comparable to that of an averagely subsided preschool or daycare.
